The construction machinery industry of China has grown by leaps and bounds, which can be seen from the increasing revenue of the industry to around RMB310 billion in 2009 from RMB56 billion in 2001. In 2010, the industrial sales in domestic market will increase further, particularly a relatively high growth speed in the first half of 2010.
Construction machinery can be fractionized into loader, excavator, bulldozer, compaction machinery and auto hoist etc, of which compaction machinery have substantial growth in terms of sales.
As of the end of November, 2009, the accumulative sales of excavator reached 86,272 sets, rising 12,790 sets year-on-year or 17.4%; while the accumulative export of excavator got to 1,446 sets, a share of 1.7% in total sales and a year-on-year decrease of 3,440 sets or 70.4%. Therefore, it can be seen that the export of excavating machines has not yet come around.
As of the end of November, 2009, the accumulative sales of bulldozers amounted to 7,790 sets, a drop of 358 sets year-on-year or 4.4%; while the accumulative export of bulldozers took up 18.4% of the total sales volume to 1,430 sets, a decrease of 1,552 sets year-on-year or 52.0%.
As of the end of November, 2009, the accumulative output of compaction machinery was 25,424 sets, up 42.4% from 17,859 sets in the same period of last year. Thanks to the 4-trillion-yuan stimulus package projected by the Central Government in 2009, China’s infrastructure projects like railways and highways were growing which facilitated the sales volume of compaction machinery to a large extent.
According to the statistics from National Bureau of Statistics of China, China Construction Machinery Association, China Machinery Industry Federation and China Customs as well as market investigations, this report conducted an in-depth analysis, study and forecast of the development of construction machinery industry and its sub-industries and leading enterprises. Also, the report discussed the overall environment and development trend in the construction machinery industry.
