Arynga and Wind River are working together to pre-integrate Arynga’s CarSync Over-The-Air (OTA) functionality with Wind River automotive software, providing additional out-of-the box SOTA/FOTA functionality to its portfolio.
As the connected vehicle becomes a central component of the Internet of Things (IoT), CarSync provides the automotive industry with a robust OTA solution for managing and maintaining the integrity of embedded systems and collecting data across the entire lifecycle of the vehicle, including pre and post production. Arynga’s CarSync will extend Wind River’s platform solutions and software integration project capabilities with pre integrated software lifecycle management functionality.
“With OTA software management, OEMs can stay connected with the software in the car throughout its lifecycle and use OTA to update software or fix issues instead of requiring physical intervention.
