The passenger delivery volume was 1.26 billion person times all over China in 2006, up 8.7% year-on-year; and the passenger turnover volume was 662.2 billion person-km, increasing 9.2% year-on-year. The cargo delivery volume was 2.87 billion tons, up 6.9%; and the cargo turnover volume was 2170.7 billion ton-km, rising 5.7% year-on-year. In the first quarter of 2007, the cargo and passenger turnover volume increased 11.3% and 8.1% year-on-year respectively.
