Jiangxi Copper Company Limited is principally engaged in manufacture, processing and distribution of copper products. The Company provides copper products, including copper cathodes, copper rods and wires, electrolytic copper foils, copper pipes and fittings, as well as copper strips, among others; precious metal products, including gold ingots and silver ingots; chemical products, including sulfuric acid and sulfur concentrates; rare metal products, including selenium powders, selenium dioxide, tellurium ingots and pure tellurium, among others, as well as other products. The Company distributes its products primarily in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other markets. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had 37 subsidiaries and six affiliates, which involved in the manufacture of copper products, processing of nonferrous metal, mining engineering and investment businesses.
