GROUPE Danone SA agreed to buy two factories from Beijing Miaoshi Dairy Co, China Business News reported, citing unidentified people.

The two dairy factories, in Shanghai and Beijing, are the biggest of Miaoshi's six plants in China, the newspaper said, without giving the cost of the acquisition.

Officials at Danone and Miaoshi declined to comment, the Shanghai-based newspaper said.
