PetroChina Co, the nation's biggest oil producer, is assessing potential refining projects abroad, a spokesman said, declining to comment on a report the company may build a plant in Singapore.
"We are studying the feasibility of overseas refinery investment," Mao Zefeng, PetroChina's Hong Kong-based spokesman said yesterday, according to Bloomberg News.
