WANT Want China Holdings Ltd, China's largest maker of rice cakes and flavored milk, and existing shareholders raised HK$8.15 billion (US$1.05 billion) in its initial public offering, after pricing the share sale at the bottom of an indicative range.
Want Want and its owners sold 2.7 billion shares at HK$3.00 each, the Shanghai-based company said in a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange yesterday. The listing will help the company raise net proceeds of HK$1.15 billion after deducting expenses, according to the statement.
