A RESIDENTIAL building in Hongqiao area of Changning District was bought by an undisclosed buyer on Monday for about 259 million yuan (US$37 million), the latest en-bloc purchase made in the city.
The 84-unit, 12,561-square-meter Tower 7 of Emperor Garden, on Anshun Road within the Middle Ring Road, was sold at an average price of 20,613 yuan per square meter, according to www.fangdi.com, Shanghai's official real estate Website.
