"As a big finished drugs manufacturer, we need to control APIs resource, " Zhang Minzhong said, the deputy general manager of Yangtze River Group. "We have two workshops used for producing API and over 100 production approvals of APIs, so we have the capacity to build up APIs factory," he said. Before Haici Biotechnology founded, the output of the two API workshops can't meet the need, and Yangtze River has to purchase much APIs. But the quality of some APIs is not stable, so Yangtze River bult up Haici Biotechnology to produce APIs. Now the APIs that Haici Biotechnology produces just is provided to themselves. But in the long time, Yangtze River hopes that they can expand the sizes of APIs and enter into international market.
