A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Thailand's private sector and a Chinese business group to jointly develop the real estate sector--particularly the hotel and hospitality in China's Guangzhou City.
Thailand's Commerce Minister Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak and Guangzhou Vice-Mayor Wang Xiaoling witnessed the signing ceremony on Thursday between the Thai business group, led by Charoen Siriwadhanabhakdi, chairman of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev), and a Chinese business group.
"The Thai private sector group, including the Imperial Hotel and the Dusit Thani, had agreed to develop real estate, particularly hotels in Guangzhou.
"Guangzhou is a developed city and has bright prospects as it is one of China's leading commercial and manufacturing regions," Dr.Somkid said.
