THE official World Expo website had a total of more than 82.34 million visitors during the event, even more than real visitors, said China Telecom yesterday, which was the major tech supporter for the website.

The volume of clicks on the website reached 873 million, which meant each visitor had more than 10 clicks.

Besides the website, the carrier's Expo hotline received 10,000 inquiries and sent out 31.24 million Expo messages, China Telecom, the event's global partner, said yesterday at a ceremony to give out awards to Expo contributors.
