It is reported that Hubei Province based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co has successfully completed a hot trial run at its ladle furnace No 3.

The furnace in question was designed by Wuhan Iron and Steel Design and Research General Institute part of the Beijing-based stated-owned MCC Group. Construction work started on the project on November 5 2010 and was completed within six months.
