Chinese heavy machinery maker Sany Corp., which had challenged U.S. private equity firm Carlyle Group for control of a bigger Chinese rival, is mulling to build a plant in the United States.

They plan to have an assembly plant in the United States and several of senior executives visited there last month.

Products made in the U.S. would be sold there.
