At the ongoing China International Software and IT Services Expo, in the eastern Chinese city of Nanjing, the future is now. Visitors are treated to a dazzling display of high-tech innovations that may soon become everyday gadgets.
Shopping for clothes will soon become much easier, with the help of this virtual mirror. The new technology enables the user to see what an outfit looks like when worn, without having to actually get changed.
This table looks like an ordinary piece of furniture. But deceptively, it's actually a multi-functional tablet computer.
Li Yang, an exhibitor said, "Users can play video games, watch films, and even surf the Internet. It also supports multi-user games."
The tablet also serves as a remote control for home appliances, and can even be used to transfer photos from your mobile phone.
And for parents and students alike, this smart classroom could revolutionize the way kids study. It frees children from debilitating schoolbags packed with heavy textbooks. All they need to carry is a small USB memory stick. In the classroom, the traditional blackboard is replaced by an interactive touch screen.

Many local visitors, including senior residents are amazed by the cutting-edge technology.
Hu Baozhu, a visitor said, "All these inventions are so smart. If you don't learn how to use a computer, you are like someone living in the 20th century. I'm already in the 21st century."
Apart from the fun stuff, there are also serious gadgets aimed at improving healthcare and medical treatment right at home. This machine, developed using cloud computing technology, collects blood pressure data and transfers it via the Internet to family members and doctors.
This year's Expo has attracted attendees from more than 700 companies, from over 20 countries and regions -including top 500 companies like Microsoft, IBM and Hewlett-Packard. Industry insiders say the event is a key platform for cooperation and exchange.
