Two of Chinese leading telecommunication equipment providers – ZTE Corporation and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd have re-entered Libya and joined in the reconstruction efforts in the country, two days after China officially recognized Libya’s National Transitional Council as the ruling authority.

» The two governments have reached a preliminary agreement on Chinese companies’ return to the country; but most of the Chinese companies with previous presence in the country have yet to continue their projects.

» Libya’s transitional government had earlier said that it would check contracts signed by former government in case of corruption, which cast doubt over the way of foreign companies back to the country.
