Guangdong sells more cement abroad

   Date:2011/09/28

South China’s Guangdong province exported 252,000 tons of cement in the first four months of this year, a rise of 19.9 percent over the same period of last year, according to the local customs house.
The exports were valued at $14.62 million, up 27 percent year-on-year. The average price went up 5.9 percent to $58 per ton.
The exports growth was attributable to warm demand on international markets, while the price rise was ascribed to mounting production cost at home. – Xinhua
