China imported 20.45 million tonnes of crude oil in September and 188 million tonnes of crude oil for the first 9 month of 2011, up 4% on year, according to the General Administration of Customs.
China exported 330,000 tonnes of crude oil in September and 1.95 tonnes of crude oil for the first 9 months of 2011, down 0.1% on year.
The country's imports of refined oil totalled 2.77 million tonnes in September and 30.31 million tonnes for the 9 months, which is down 13.6% on year.
Its exports of refined oil amounted to 2.24 million tonnes in September. For the 9 months, the exports dropped 6% on year to 19.76 million tonnes.
