7 Days Inn, an economy hotel brand that started its business from Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, released its financial report for the third quarter this year, showing that it opened 116 hotels in the period and the total number reached 1,089. It is planning to open another 360 new locations in 2012, maintaining its leading position in the industry.
According to its financial report of the second quarter, the total annual number of new locations in 2011 is expected to reach 340. 7 Days Inn has already opened 270 new hotels so far—51 in the first quarter, 103 in the second and 116 in the third—and realized its plan to have “1,000 hotels in 100 cities” half a year ahead of schedule. The brand has nearly 60 locations in Shenzhen at present.
