Gasgoo.com (Shanghai December 13) - Shanghai GM Wuling Motors Co., Ltd.(SGMU) will be adding four new models to its own brand Baojun line, the Beijing News reported today. Sales of the joint venture's Baojun 630, which was unveiled this August, have exceeded Shanghai GM Wuling's targets. 6,018 units were sold in November alone.

The four models include a VVT 1.5 L-powered vehicle and a 1.8 L vehicle. The former will be mated to either a manual or six-speed automatic transmission and will be unveiled early next year. Meanwhile, the latter will be powered by the same technology driving the Chevrolet Cruze, and will be brought over in the second half of the year. According to officials from the joint venture, the Baojun line will grow to include a SUV and a minivan.
