7-Eleven Tests Franchise Business in Shanghai

   Date:2012/01/04

After seven years since its entry into Chinese market, the global convenience store giant 7-Eleven is starting franchise business in the country with caution.

7-Eleven remained cautious as it was still uncertain about the trend of convenience store market in China. The start of franchise by 7-Eleven, which was known for its operation capacity, will benefit small- and medium-sized investors. 7-Eleven will begin by launching trial operation in two stores in Shanghai, according to Li Jiahao, a director from 7-Eleven Shanghai. If the results are satisfactory, it will make franchise business to full swing.
