China's crude oil production rose 0.6% on year in October to 15.5 million metric tons, or an average of 3.67 million barrels a day, data issued by the National Bureau of Statistics showed.
This resulted in 153.43 million tons of crude output during the first 10 months of this year, equivalent to 3.7 million b/d.
The country's crude oil output recorded stable growth in the past ten months, up 1.6% from 151 million tons in first ten months of last year.
But China's crude output growth can hardly match its growth in demand. Its imports of crude were up 14.1% at 120.07 million tons during January to October.
