Sun Art Retail Group (HKG:6808) has noted a press article that appeared in Headline Daily yesterday in relation to the unaudited results of the company for the six months ended 30 June 2011 that were published in the interim results announcement of the company dated 30 August 2011 and the same-store-growth of the company for the third quarter of 2011 reported as 9.5%.

The board has clarified that the number of stores opened as at 30 June 2011 was 198 instead of 197 as reported in the article. Save for the above, the board confirms that the information in respect of the company's unaudited results for the six months ended 30 June 2011 and the same-store-growth of the company for the third quarter of 2011 is substantially correct.
