JNCEC (HKG:0579) Stabilisation Period Ends

Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy (HKG:0579) announced that the stabilisation period in connection with the global offering ended on 14 January 2012.

Stabilization actions undertaken during the stabilisation period included (i) over-allocations of an aggregate of 170.302 million H shares in the international offering, representing 15% of the offer shares initially offered under the global offering before any exercise of the over-allotment option; (ii) the partial exercise of the over-allotment option by Goldman Sachs on behalf of the international underwriters in respect of 129.476 million H shares, representing 11.4% of the offer shares initially available under the global offering before any exercise of the over-allotment option; (iii) and the purchases of an aggregate of 40.826 million H shares at HK$1.63-1.67 per H share on the market.

The last purchase by Goldman Sachs on the market during the stabilization period was made on 13 January 2012 at HK$1.66 per H share.

As a result of the partial exercise of the over-allotment option by Goldman Sachs on behalf of the international underwriters, the company issued and allotted and an aggregate of 129 million H shares at HK$1.67 per share, raising net proceeds of HK$190 million.
