Singapore, Feb 01, 2012: Evado Clinical Software has opened its Asian Help Desk Support Centre at the Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI). The support centre will provide Evado's registry and research and commercial trial clients with bilingual support throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Ms Jennie Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Evado said that the help desk at SCRI provides English and Chinese support from experienced clinical research associates and data managers.
SCRI has significant expertise in executing single, multi-site and multi-national research and in developing regional clinical research networks. Ms Anderson believes that SCRI’s leadership of clinical trials in the Asia-Pacific region is critical to the future of international trials, especially for ‘mega’ trials that could involve up to 40,000 patients. “We chose SCRI because of their demonstrated competence in running and managing research and commercial trials and patient registries, and their ability to support Chinese- and English-speaking users,” Ms Anderson said.
“In combination with Evado’s Australian office and new US office, the Singapore support centre offers clients a unique, cost-effective clinical trial solution and an ability to create global clinical trial projects.”
Professor Sam Lim is the Chief Operating Officer of SCRI. He sees the partnership with Evado as critical to the future of clinical trials in the Asia-Pacific. “Evado’s clinical software will be a tremendous help to researchers in the Asia-Pacific region. SCRI will also be able to build up our expertise with the systems so we support investigators in their research.
