China's Construction Ministry( CCM) reported on the adjustment of nationwide property market in 2006 with newly build housing price up 6.6 percent year on year in 70 major cities in October.

It will stress supervision on the construction of houses for low rental and track the leader's responsibility in case of specific land and project.

The ministry said the rising rate of housing price is still a little higher in October in some cities with 0.3 percent up from last month.
