Case Construction Equipment has launched CX470C crawler excavator which replaces the B series model, with a Tier 4-Interim diesel of rated 362 net horsepower.

The Machine has 3 configurations, respectively long-undercarriage(LC), retractable-undercarriage (RTC), or mass excavator (MEX) configuration.

Operating weights range from 105,300 to 108,600 lb., roughly 1,100 lb. heavier than predecessors. CX470C crawler excavators have 6-percent more lift capacity. With standard 11 foot 1 inch-arm, maximum dig radius is 39 feet 4 inches; maximum dig depth is 25 feet 4 inches; and dump height is 25 feet 5 inches. Standard digging force is 42,490 lb.-ft., and standard bucket digging force is 55,530 lb.-ft.
