The world’s retail giant METRO Group said that it opened four Cash & Carry stores in China in 2011, making its total store count in the country to 54, and its sales stood at 1.535 billion yuan.
It also announced that the sales of the whole group suffered a slight decrease of 0.8% and the number was down to 66.7 billion euro while its international sales contributed 83.5% to the total figure, up from 82.9% in 2010.
