As of April 3, the national wind-solar demonstration project in Zhangbei county, Zhangjiakou city, Hebei province has been operating safely for 100 consecutive days with cumulative output of power over 100 million kilowatt hours.

It is also the largest demonstration project in the world integrating wind power, photovoltaic power, power storage and smart transmission, whose smooth operation marks a major breakthrough in China's technologies in comprehensive utilization of new energy.

According to a briefing, the national wind-solar demonstration project, having withstood the test of strong wind, intense cold and other inclement weather conditions and various modes of operation, can work stably and effectively in condition of high and low voltage caused by grid fault.
