China's largest producer of the food additive glutamic acid, Shandong Fufeng Fermentation Holdings, will begin pre-marketing this week for a Hong Kong initial public offering set to raise roughly US$100 million.

ABN Amro Rothschild and Goldbond Capital are sponsoring the deal ahead of a trading debut expected for early February.

Bolstered by issuers from mainland China, companies raised a record US$41.8 billion in Hong Kong initial public offerings last year
