China's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) tank officially began operating at Ba Keshu Tank Station, which is owned by Shenyan Gas Company.
The tank is 30 meters high, 20 meters in diameter and weighs 2000 tons. Its advanced design includes SnapTanks. Then small SnapTanks are fitted into a larger tank; the smaller tanks store the gas and the larger tank protects them.
The tank can hold 2,500 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas which can be vaporized into 1.5 million cubic meters of natural gas.
