Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform issued retailing price guidance on TCM and Western medicine in order to stable the price of regular and commonly-used medicine.

The guidance covers over 300 kinds of medicine from antibiotics to cough syrup. The drugs in the list could basically meet normal demands from regular patients which helps to reduce people’s medical bills. Any drug stores or hospitals who over priced the drugs sold on that list shall be severely fined.
