Sweden's Volvo AB is targeting 30 percent growth in truck sales in China in 2007, a senior company executive said.

Volvo's truck sales grew 28 percent to 1,173 units in China last year, said Anders Biveby, sales director, Greater China Volvo Trucks, told Reuters on the sidelines of a business event in Shanghai.

Volvo operates a heavy-duty truck venture with China National Heavy-Duty Truck Corp.
