On the afternoon of May 22, Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB) promoted wine for the new round in Beijing Hilton Hotel. Wine dealers tasted 100 varieties of Bordeaux AOC wine.

Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB) specified the wine qualifying: Red wine, white wine and sweet white wine were produced in the statutory region of Bordeaux. The price of per bottle of wine ranged between RMB70 and RMB250 and the price in restaurant ranged from RMB250 to RMB500.The vintage of wine was from 2000 to 2006.

The Bordeaux Wine Festival will be held to promote Bordeaux wine in Carrefour Supermarket. From May 18 to 27 of 2007, promotions will be held in 12 Carrefour Supermarkets which are in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.

There will be training lectures of Bordeaux wine. In August of 2007, Bordeaux wine training school will organize the training in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The training persons will arrive in Bordeaux in November of 2007 and to be the Bordeaux ambassadors of wine.
