Hong Kong consumers may enjoy cheaper beer as wholesalers decided to lower beer prices from next month, though the city's two major supermarket chains said they may not change retail prices of beer immediately, said Hong Kong media yesterday.

Hong Kong beer wholesalers union on Saturday announced their decision to reduce wholesale prices of about 40 brands of beer next month.
