Chinese medical equipment industry is entering a period of rapid development. It's estimated that by 2010 year the market capacity of medical equipment will reach 120 billion Yuan.
Wu Qiyao, the president of CIS (China Instrument and Control Society) Medical Device Society said,"the sales value of Chinese medical equipment industry only occupies 2% of global value, and can't meet the need of Medical & Health plan". Recently China should push hard the development of community health care and the construction of basic health facilities of rural areas. It's estimated that 20 billion Yuan should be spent on the construction of basic health facilities of rural areas during the period of eleven-five project. It predicts that Chinese medical equipment industry is facing a good market chance.
