KEPPEL Land, the property arm of Keppel Group, one of Singapore's largest multinational corporations, said it is fueling its growth on the Chinese mainland through a pipeline of projects in northern city of Tianjin.

Singapore's third-largest developer will build a residential township in Xin Li Zhen that could hold more than 52,000 homes over the next 20 years, the company said on its Website.

"With growing affluence across China, more people will desire a better lifestyle afforded by quality homes," said Kevin Wong, managing director of Keppel Land. "We want to cater to this growing demand, by offering well-planned and designed townships that integrate quality homes with a wide range of lifestyle amenities."

The company has also expressed an interest to prepare land for a 44.1-square-kilometer waterfront satellite town in Gegu and signed a memorandum of understanding to explore the development of an integrated business process outsourcing park in the Xiqing Economic and Development Area.

Keppel Land is also developing The Arcadia, a premier residential enclave comprising 168 units of exclusive villas in Jinnan District.
