According to the customs' statistics, Guangdong's imports of wine were 2.756 million liters in volume and 9.448 dollars by value, separately increasing 1.5 times and 2.2 times compared with that of the same period of last year.

Guangdong mainly imported small capacity of wine, reaching to 1.848 million liters and increasing 1.7 times. It accounted for 67% of the total imports.

Guangdong mainly imported wine from EU, Australia and USA. In the first quarter of this year, Guangdong's imported wine from Australia was 29 thousand liters, increasing 1.3 times and accounting for 22.8% of the total wine imports. Its imported wine from USA was 596 thousand liters, increasing by 65.3% and accounting for 21.6% of the total wine imports. And its imported wine from EU was 1.285 million liters, increasing 2.1 times and accounting for 46.6%.The total wine imports of EU, Australia and USA accounted for 91% of Guangdong's wine imports.

The import prices increased distinctly. In the first quarter of this year, the average import prices of Guangdong's imported wine was 3.4 dollars per liter, increasing by 29.8%.
