On September 1st 2007, the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress & the 67th International Congress of FIP hosted by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and Chinese Pharmaceutical Association(CPA) was held in Beijing. The congress will end on September 6th. More than 3000 domestic and foreign participants gathered in Beijing, discussing the hot topics in the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. The congress is surely to effectively promote international pharmaceutical communication and cooperation, and is a good opportunity for the pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists all over the world to see the pharmaceutical development in China as well.
At the same time, CPA celebrated its 100 years anniversary of foundation to fully review her brilliant history. CPA has always been dedicating to the development of Chinese pharmaceutical, so 100 year anniversary celebration was held to summarize experience inherit the past and forge ahead into the future. Vice Premier Wu Yi attended the congress and made an important speech.
