CHINA has already closed small coal-fired power generation units with aggregate capacity of 10 million kilowatts so far this year, the National Development and Reform Commission said yesterday.

China set the target to shut down 10 million kilowatts of small capacity for the whole year to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.
