Beijing-based airport and in-flight digital screen advertiser AirMedia Group Inc. (Nasdaq: AMCN) began trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on Wednesday. The shares debuted at US$19.5 and ended the day at US$20.9, up over 39 percent from their initial public offering (IPO) price of $15. AirMedia raised US$225 million through the sale of 15 million American Depository Shares (ADS), which represent two ordinary AirMedia shares. As of Wednesday's closing price, AirMedia Group has a market capitalization of US$1.38 billion.
