HOPEWELL Holdings Ltd, the Hong Kong builder and toll-road operator controlled by billionaire Gordon Wu, will invest about one billion yuan (US$135 million) in a real estate project in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province.

The project will include a 30,000-square-meter office tower, 400-room hotel, a 250-unit serviced apartment building and a 65,000-square-meter shopping mall on completion in 2014, Hopewell said in a faxed statement yesterday.
