Sanofi-Aventis will spend 100 million euros ($148 million) to build a vaccine plant in Shenzhen in southern China, Sanofi Chief Executive Gerard Le Fur told Reuters on Sunday.

An agreement to build the factory is one of several business deals expected to be signed on Monday in the presence of Chinese President Hu Jintao and visiting French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
