TOTAL SA announced yesterday the start-up of a new distillate hydrocracker at the Wepec refinery in Dalian, Liaoning Province, in which the French oil major holds 22.4 percent.
The US$240-million conversion unit increases the refinery's annual diesel output capacity by 40 percent to 3.5 million tons.
