Shanghai International Airport Co., Ltd. is primarily engaged in airport services of Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, China. The Company's principal activities consist of the provision of ground handling services to domestic and foreign airlines and passengers; the management and leasing of aviation operation space, commercial space and offices inside the airports; the operation of domestic trade and advertising business, and other airport related services. During the year ended December 31, 2010, Pudong Airport handled 332,127 flights, and achieved a throughput of approximately 40.58 million passengers and approximately 3.28 million metric tons of cargoes and mails. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had two subsidiaries/affiliates, which involved in advertisement design and the supply of air fuel.
