Shui On Construction and Materials Limited (SOCAM) is an investment holding company. SOCAM is engaged in property, cement and construction with operations in the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau. It operates in four segments: construction and building maintenance, cement operations, property, and others. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had a diverse property portfolio of nine projects comprising approximately 1.67 million square meters of attributable developable gross floor area. As of December 31, 2010, the aunual production of cement was 32 million tons. The Company鈥檚 construction business operates through Shui On Building Contractors and Shui On Construction, Mainland (SOCM). During the year ended December 31, 2010, the Company disposed of its four properties en-bloc, namely Chengdu Central Point, Beijing Fengqiao Villas, Chongqing Danlong Road and Nanyang Building. In January 2010, SOCAM acquired Dignitary Limited. In November 2010, it acquired 21st Century Tower.
