Huayi Electric Company Limited is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of wind power generation equipment and high voltage electrical appliances. The Company鈥檚 main products are high- and low-voltage power distribution products, including outdoor switches, medium- and low-voltage switch sets, switch components and substations, as well as wind power generation products, including wind power generator sets, wind examining equipment and intelligent control products. The Company also offers transformers, electric power system automation products, and lighting boxes, among others. It distributes its products primarily in domestic market. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had 14 subsidiaries and affiliates, which involved in manufacture and distribution of vacuum circuit breakers, disconnecting switches, wind power generator sets and switches. On May 7, 2010, the Company completed the disposal of 85.5% of the equity of Inner Mongolia San Sheng Wind Power Co., Ltd.
