Keyuan Petrochemicals, Inc. (Keyuan), formerly Silver Pearl Enterprises, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary, Keyuan Plastics, Co. Ltd. (Keyuan Plastics), is engaged in the manufacture and supply of a range of petrochemical products in People's Republic of China. The Company manufactures and supplies a variety of petrochemical products, including BTX aromatics, propylene, styrene, liquid propane gas (LPG), methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) and other petrochemicals. On May 12, 2010, the Company acquired 95% interest in Keyuan Petrochemicals, Inc. Effective May 17, 2010, it merged with Keyuan Petrochemicals, Inc.
