China Shipbuilding Industry Company Limited is principally engaged in the manufacturing, repairing and adaption of ships. The Company also operates its businesses through ship related business, which provides low-speed diesel engines, medium-speed diesel engines, anchor and mooring equipment, cranes, crankshafts of marine low speed engines and low pressure cable-cranes, among others; non ship equipment business, which offers wind turbine gearboxes, drift indicators, pitch-controlled systems and emergency diesel generator sets for nuclear power stations, as well as military business. The Company also involves in manufacture and distribution of railway transportation equipment, such as railway wagons. It distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets.
