COSCO Shipping Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in provision of deep sea special general cargo transportation services. The Company operates five fixed shipping lines, including Far East to Bangladesh, Far East to Africa, Far East to the America, Far East to the Gulf and Red Sea region, Far East to Southeast Asia, as well as Far East to Europe and Mediterranean. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had 49 multipurpose and general cargo ships, two semi-submersible ships, six heavy lift ships, one pure car carriers and three roll-on roll-off ships. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had cour major subsidiaries, which involved in international automobile transportation and deep sea cargo transportation services.
