China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Limited (Mingyang) is a wind turbine manufacturer in China, focusing on designing, manufacturing, selling and servicing megawatt-class wind turbines. The Company is non-state owned or controlled wind turbine manufacturer in China. Its products consist of two models of wind turbines, each with a rated power capacity of 1.5 megawatt (MW) designed and developed to cater to the wind and other weather conditions and power grids in China. The Company cooperates with aerodyn Energiesysteme to develop its 1.5MW wind turbines and share intellectual property rights. It also has obtained exclusive licenses from aerodyn Asia Co., Ltd. (aerodyn Asia) to manufacture and distribute in China wind turbines utilizing its advanced super-compact drive (SCD) technology, with a rated power capacity ranging from 2.5MW to 3MW, or the 2.5/3.0MW SCD wind turbines, and a rated power capacity of 6MW, or the 6MW SCD wind turbine.
